Host Port Connector (rear panel)
WARNING! Auxiliary equipment connected to the
DINAMAP
®
PRO Monitor will result in the formation of an
electromedical system and thus, must comply with the
requirements of EN 60601-1-1/ IEC 601-1. All host port
signals are NON-ISOLATED and should be connected to
equipment conforming to IEC-601-1, configured to comply
with IEC 601-1-1 ONLY. Where isolation of data
communication is required, GE Medical Systems Information
Technologies part number ILC232 should be used. If external
alarm control is required, GE Medical Systems Information
Technologies part number 487208 (Isolated Remote Alarm
Cable Assembly) should ALWAYS be used. Please refer to
the Information Sheet included with the isolated remote
alarm cable for details.
Note: When using remote alarm, the PRO Monitor should be
considered the primary alarm source. The secondary alarm is
used for secondary purposes only.
